The APS Metallic Foils provide an easy way to add that extra sparkle or pattern to your decorative projects.
Metallic Foils are made from a thin layer of non-reactive metallic sheets that are fused to a clear cellophane.
With this foil you transfer a clear film which holds a pattern over your coloured background rather than pure metallic pigments.
A clear foil with a holographic crackle pattern across. Lay on top of paint for a crackled foil effect.
Apply the specialist glue, APS Embellishments foil adhesive, to your project, allow to become tacky and then rub the foil onto the glue. Pull away the cellophane backing sheet and you will have a metallic shiny surface on your project which just needs a protective top coat.
This foil is suitable for all projects including textile ones

It is recommended that the APS foil adhesive or another foil size is used to apply these foils. They will not transfer when used with PVA glue.

Holy Crackle APS Metallic Foil Textile Friendly
Full instructions are sent with your order, but here’s our recommended way to foil on wood:
1. Paint a base colour on your project - leave to dry for at least 24 hours
2. Apply a thin layer of the Artsyville Foil adhesive
3. Wait for the glue to go clear, and then dry to a tacky but dry feel - this will take at least 1 hour
4. Once tacky, place foil over surface with the pattern side facing up
5. Rub the foil with a cloth/toothbrush & peel back cellophane
6. Topcoat with a water based varnish
