Dixie Belle Mud - White
This Dixie Belle Paint Company product is one to keep in your stash!
Use to repair, restore and embellish your upcycling projects. Dixie Belle Mud is a premium furniture wood filler and texture medium.
Available in white, black or brown. White is ideal as a primer or under light coloured paints.
Designed with a thick putty like consistency use as a heavy duty putty to fix structural flaws and as an embossing paste for 3D details.
Use to hide missing veneer, smooth out scratches, fill hardware holes, create raised stencil designs. Create wood grain and stone effects.
Once dry this versatile filler can be sanded and painted.
How to use:
1. Furniture Repair and Filling:
- Clean wood and using a knife or spatula, spread the mud directly over veneer damages, gouges or holes.
- Scrape off the excess
- Allow to dry for 30 mins to an hour depending on depth
- Sand the surface smooth
2. Raised Stencil:
- Place your stencil on the surface and secure with painters tape
- Use a spatula to drag mud over stencil pattern
- Lift the stencil whilst the mud is still wet
- Allow to dry before sealing or painting
PLEASE NOTE - Do not rinse this product down your drain. It will solidify and block pipes. Wipe stencils and spatulas with a baby wipe or paper towel and discard in the bin
To maximise storage after opening store in a cold environment (your fridge is perfect!)
