Polyvine Mouldguard Fungicidal Wood Cleaner
A high performance, ready mixed, water based wood cleaner - ideal for furniture which has been stored in a shed or damp conditioners!
This removes mould, mildew, algae, and bacteria. It also sterilises the area reducing the risk of regrowth.
Free from hazardous chemicals and alkalis (bleach free).
Virtually VOC free
Safe to use on hard and soft woods.
Contents: 1 litre.
HOW TO USE
Remove surface debris and organic growth by scraping and brushing. All wooden surfaces must be scraped to a porous surface ready for MouldGuard application.
For optimal biocidal effectiveness, apply the treatment to dry surfaces.
You can use a brush, roller, or spraY application at a rate of 4-6 square meters per litre, depending on the porosity of the substrate.
After applying the treatment, scrub the areas with an appropriate brush and let it sit for up to 20 minutes
It may be necessary to repeat the process for heavily contaminated areas.
Ensure the Mouldguard does not dry out if you are primarily using the product as a cleaner.
Biocidal protection. When treating wood, before re-coating to ensure the fungus/mould does not reoccur, allow the treatment to remain for 24 hours to maximize its biocidal effect by allowing the solution to penetrate the wood.
Finally, rinse or wipe down the treated surfaces with clean water to remove residues and dead growth.
Allow the area to dry completely before proceeding with any further treatment.
Always apply to a test area before starting work.
