Redesign with Prima Art Basics Heavy Gesso - Black
Prepare your art projects with this Gesso from Redesign with Prima. This premium, professional-grade mixed media primer acts as the ultimate foundation for all your DIY decor, and art projects.
Formulated as a thick, heavy body black gesso, it provides exceptional coverage to seal porous surfaces, and deliver a clean, uniform canvas.
Gesso works well as a primer on most surfaces including canvas, wood, paper, metal, chipboard, fabric, plastic, etc.
A quick drying product, so you can create a smooth, matte black finish fast, which grips acrylic paints and waxes.
Gesso is water based, but still permanent when dry, and remains flexible after drying preventing your artwork from cracking or peeling over time
The thick heavy-body formula provides a dense, opaque background and works beautifully as a relief paste or 3D texture medium.
Mix with pigments, or acrylic paints, to create a range of customized, colored grounds.
Apply with a paintbrush or palette knife.
Non toxic.
Available as a 2oz tube or 8.5 fl oz tub
